Ruth’s Chris Chicken And Green Bean Bake

Ingredients:

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (halal-certified)

1 teaspoon kosher salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

2 tablespoons olive oil

For the Bake:

3 cups fresh or frozen green beans (trimmed)

1 cup mushrooms, sliced (optional)

1/2 cup onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese

Creamy Sauce:

1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of chicken soup (halal-friendly)

1/2 cup sour cream

1/2 cup milk

1/2 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon dried thyme (optional)


Directions:


Preheat the Oven:

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.

Season the Chicken:

Rub chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and olive oil.

Prepare the Vegetables:

Spread green beans, mushrooms, and onion evenly in the baking dish. Sprinkle minced garlic over the top.

Mix the Sauce:

In a bowl, whisk together cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, paprika, and thyme until smooth.

Assemble the Dish:

Place seasoned chicken on top of the vegetables. Pour the sauce evenly over everything.

Bake:

Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil, sprinkle cheese on top, and bake uncovered for another 15–20 minutes until bubbly and chicken is fully cooked.

Serve:

Let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy with rice, potatoes, or on its own.
